what to include on your reply card

standard

The standard reply card has a deadline to respond by (typically 4 weeks before your wedding), a line for their names, and a place to check if they can make it or not. We find it helpful to also add a “number attending” line so everyone’s on the same page.

entrées and other wedding events

Need your guests to select their entrée? List those options on your reply card. Since each guest will initial by their selection, a “number attending” line isn’t necessary here. If you have other events for them to RSVP to, those can also go here.

what to include on your details card

the minimum

Your details card should include the addresses of your ceremony and reception locations along with your wedding website if you have one. If your guests are replying online, this information will also go here.

the maximum

While it’s become common to send guests to your website for more info, you may still want to list a few important details in addition to venue addresses and website. Examples include accommodations, weekend details, transportation, and attire.

Additional cards can be purchased should you have several details or weekend activities.
